The RapidIO Trade Association is developing reference designs for servers and switches, paving the way into the datacenter for ARM-based SoCs.  Freescale, IDT, IP provider Mobiveil, and system maker Prodrive helped start the datacenter and networking task group inside the RapidIO Trade Association.
