Join us at the Multicore Developers Conference on May 21st and 22nd in Santa Clara, California. This two day event promises to help developers and managers understand and utilize the benefits of multicore systems. A large part of this understanding relates directly to application-specific design characteristics of high-performance networking and wireless equipment.

The RapidIO architecture was designed from the ground up to support multicore system design and provides programming models for shared memory, message passing and even multi-processor coherency. The RapidIO interconnect is widely used in systems that utilize both homogeneous and heterogeneous multicore programming models.

The RapidIO Trade Association will be presenting performance comparison information showing the capabilities of the hardware terminated RapidIO protocol to support distributed multicore processing with much higher performance and much more efficiency than with software-terminated protocols such as Ethernet.

Registration for qualified attendees is free before March 31st.
