- Description:
- The IDT CPS-1616 is a Serial RapidIO 2.1 switch which provides a full non-blocking bandwidth of 80 Gbps for up to 16 ports. The device uses a 5th generation switch fabric, building upon Gen1 CPS and Tsi switching architectures. This switch uses patent pending features to minimize latency, ensure scheduling fairness, and provide superior multicast throughput. IDT's Serial RapidIO switches provide carrier-grade, peer-to-peer, reliable packet transport over any system topology. Serial RapidIO is ideal for high performance, low power, fault tolerant, scalable embedded systems including: mobile wireless infrastructure, military and aerospace, industrial controls, imaging, and servers and storage.
