Description:

DSP applications, such as radar, sonar and high-speed image processing, require as much processing power and bandwidth as possible. The XMCV5 mezzanine is a rugged XMC that harnesses the power and flexibility of the Virtex-5 FXT with build options for SXT and LXT that is capable of supporting these demanding applications for the latest VXS and VPX, switched fabric enabled platforms.

The XMCV5 offers external memory of 144 MBits QDR2 SRAM and 512 MBytes DDR2 SDRAM, VITA 42.3 PCIe or VITA 42.2 sRIO build options, Rocket I/O at up to 6.5 GHz via GTX links, VBIT Built-In-Test and Level 1 to 5 ruggedization options. The XMCV5 can be combined with our rugged single board computers and carrier cards to develop system capabilities not previously possible.

With the Virtex-5 1136 package, XMCV5 includes FX100T, SX95T or LX110T and LX155T giving you the optimal solution for your requirement. VWRAP support is provided as a Xilinx ISE or EDK project with tested cores to provide a quick start for your project. AXIS Advanced Integrated Multiprocessor Software simplifies development even further. It all adds up to the kind of extreme performance for your latest applications demand.
