RapidFET Middleware is a new product by Fabric Embedded Tools. Many of our customers over the years have enjoyed and come to trust the Discovery, Enumeration and Initialization capabilities of our diagnostic tools and wanted to incorporate this algorithm into their deployed products. RapidFET Middleware is the answer to this request. We actually use this same middleware within all of our own applications including our diagnostic tool products so you can be guaranteed the same proven and robust performance in your embedded software. A RapidFET Middleware license comes with C source code, example implementations for some processor boards, quality documentation and a support package.

The Standard package includes a Discovery and Enumeration algorithm that supports standard and non-standard multivendor device behaviours that has been proven on numerous devices, systems, and network topologies. It supports all Star, Tree, and full mesh topologies including redundant links. It will also support multivendor switch routing table initialization, including both unicast, multicast, small and large transport configurations. Plus RapidFET Middleware is designed to work hand in hand with RapidFET Professional.
