Description:

The CommAgility AMC-V5F is a single width, mid-size Advanced Mezzanine Card with exceptional interfacing and processing performance in a highly compact package. It is aimed at the latest wireless baseband applications but is also very suitable for any FPGA processing application, especially where optical interfacing or SRIO support is required.

A key feature of the AMC-V5F is the dual SFP sockets for optical interfaces to the FPGA. These are typically used for CPRI or OBSAI fibre (fiber) optic interfaces, although many other options are possible. Linked to these interfaces is a low jitter, highly flexible digitally controlled, VCXO based PLL circuit allowing a wide range of wireless synchronisation and distribution options including a low cost 1 PPS GPS clock.
