- The WKRP is a Wireless RapidIO Platform Kit is a stand alone ATCA compatible carrier for SRIO. It features Tundra's Tsi578 SRIO switch, 4 AMC ports, GigE between AMC pairs and SFP, an SMA port, an LVDS (Infiniband style) port, FPGA Extension Slot and powered through a standard ATX connector. The Tsi578 has 80 Gbits/s aggregated bandwidth and provides more processing power per watt via distributed CPUS, multicast, traffic management scheduling algorithms, fabric monitoring to supervise & manage traffic flow, and is highly configurable with low power consumption. It is fully compliant with RapidIO Specification (Rev 1.2). The WKRP provides a platform for other STx products AMC70K2000, AMC Processor Board, FPGA Mezzanine Card, Serial Buffer Mezzanine Card and interface to wireless radio boards to form a Wirelss Development System.
