Part of GE Fanuc Intelliget Platforms 6U VXS/VPX product family and the highest performance PowerPC/AltiVec quad 8641/8641D (8640/8640D ready) multiprocessor card on the market - the DSP220 sets the standard for deployed COTS multiprocessors aimed at the most demanding rugged defense and aerospace applications either as a standalone card or as part of an integrated AXIS multicomputer.

Featuring four single- or dual core Freescale PowerPC 8641 (8640 ready) system-on-chip nodes and a VITA 42.2 compliant XMC slot, the DSP220 is available in six ruggedization levels including air-, spray- and conduction-cooled for extended temperature operation as well as resistance to shock and vibration. It has been selected for several major international military programs.

Designed for a broad range of applications such as land-mobile, airborn fixed- and rotary wing, and naval surface and underwater platforms that require high performance COTS multiprocessors.
