Insights:

What industries/markets are most likely to benefit from the RapidIOŽ data streaming enhancements?

From Ernie Bergstrom, Founder, Crystal Cube Consulting:

"The strength and concentration for sRIO appears to be focused principally with on-board Digital Signal Processing (DSP) clustering in wireless and embedded applications. It is expected that sRIO will be favored due to its ability to support a peer-to-peer communications model, via device address based routing and low packet overhead. Therefore some of the most likely market will be automotive, industrial automation, and medical applications."
