  • Altera and TelASIC Announce Breakthrough Power Efficiency for 3G/3.5G Wireless Base Station Radios: Altera Corporation and TelASIC Communication announced a jointly-developed radio card, TC8201 that dramatically increases power amplifier (PA) efficiency when compared with analog feed-forward-based systems.

  • FuturePlus Systems adds Serial RapidIO protocol analyzer: The FS4410 is a low-cost Serial RapidIO protocol analysis probe for use with Agilent Technologies logic analyzers. It will be used by designers involved in development of computers and peripherals incorporating the Serial RapidIO architecture. The FS4410 allows non-intrusive probing of Serial RapidIO buses at a data rate of 3.125 Gbps.
